ABOUT US

Where Did Wild Hunny Boutique Begin?
Wild Hunny Boutique was founded by local owner, artist, and educator Laura Taubery in June 2021 in a charming log cabin in Ringwood, Illinois. Inspired by the natural beauty that surrounded her—and with a touch of humor, as Laura is deathly allergic to bees and "Hunny" is a playful nod to honey—the name Wild Hunny Boutique was born.
What began as a small boutique quickly grew through strong community connections, support from former students, and collaborations with local artists seeking opportunities to showcase their work. Today, that same commitment to community remains at the heart of everything we do.
Every artist and maker featured at Wild Hunny Boutique is thoughtfully selected based on their local connection, the quality of their craftsmanship, and the creativity they bring to their work. We are proud to provide a welcoming space where talented artisans, small businesses, and our community can come together to celebrate shopping local.
Thank you for supporting our small business!
